All Inspect has additional certification in mold & radon testing, from the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2).
I perform mold inspections to IAC2 Standards. This additional certification allows me to identify types of mold and perform sampling. This service is useful not only when inspecting a new home, but in assessing possible issues in your current residential property.
A mold inspection, like a home inspection, is valid for the date of the inspection since mold growth can change over time. I perform a visual examination of accessible systems and building parts, taking measurements for moisture, temperature, and humidity. I take mold samples and will report on moisture, water damage, musty odors, mold growth, and the result of laboratory analysis of all samples.
A mold inspection is designed to complement, rather than replace, a complete home inspection or indoor air quality inspection.
I can also assess and report on the ways radon enters a home, test for radon in water, and describe ways you can mitigate radon in your home.
